Tips on Using Oujia Boards

An Ouija board, known with other names as talking board and spirit key board, is basically a flat board with letters from A to Z, number from 0 to 9, and words like yes, no, hello, and goodbye, written to it. This board is used by group of individuals to communicate with the spirit that they have called. Others use this board for entertainment purposes only while others take the use of this board seriously. It will take two or more person to use the Ouija board. One player will act as the medium psychic while the other player takes the role of the writer. The writer is responsible for noting the message that was spelled by the called spirit.

However, in playing the Ouija board, the players must be aware of the safety precautions.

While the players are calling for a spirit, there is a great chance, that there will be more than one spirit who will arrive on the place where the players and the board are. If there are more than one spirits that have granted the player’s wish to play with them, there is chance that a commotion between these spirits will occur as to which one will play with the players. Thus, one must understand first some tips on playing the Ouija board.
First, acknowledge positive energies only. As a tradition, before the game starts, the player that is taking the role of a medium psychic should announce first that the game is about to start. He/she will then invite some spirits to participate with them. The player should state though that only good or positive energies are welcome, and negative energies are not allowed to participate on the game. That way, no bad spirits will attempt to participate and harm the players.

Second, never ask for physical signs from the spirits present.

Most players doubt if a spirit is really present with them. So, in order to believe, they often ask for a physical sign that the spirit is present. However, this is a very big mistake, because when you ask for a physical proof, you are granting the spirit a permission to enter the physical dimension. This can lead to some problems because one does not know what other possibilities that the spirit can do.

Third, end the game properly. Another common mistake by most players is that they do not end the game properly, so the spirit is left alone and confused.

To end the game properly, slide your hands to the word “goodbye” and remove it afterwards. Close the Ouija board after using it. If you do not properly end the game, it is believed that the spirit will just wander around in the physical dimension like a lost puppy. As a form of respect to the spirit, it is but right to close the game properly.

Lastly, make sure that a medium psychic is present when you do such games. The medium will guide you in playing the game. If there will be problems with the spirits while playing the game, the medium will be able to control the spirit as well. Thus, no commotion will occur, and no harm will be done to you and to the spirit.
